Computer motherboard cable

The connector pins of the chassis panel are generally placed at the lower left end of the motherboard near the edge. Generally, there are two rows of pins, and there are about 10 groups. There are mainly power switches, reset switches, power indicators, hard disk indicators, and speakers. Wait for the pin.

1 power switch cable

When connecting the power switch cable, first find the two-pin plug labeled "power sw" from the chassis panel cable, which are white and brown, and then plugged on the motherboard labeled "pwr sw" or "RWR". The pin on the word is fine.

2 reset switch cable

Used to warm start the computer. When connecting, first find the two-pin plug labeled "RESET SW", which is white and blue, and then plug it into the pin labeled "Reset sw" or "RSR" on the motherboard.

3 power indicator cable

First find the three-pin plug labeled "Power LED". The middle one is empty and the two are missing. The two ends are white and green. Then insert it on the main board and mark it as "PWR LED" or "P LED". The word on the pin.

Reminder: When the power switch cable and the reset switch cable are inserted, you can pay attention to the problem of plugging and unplugging. However, since the power indicator is wired and the LED is used to display the work, the connection is directional. Some motherboards will be marked with the words “P LED+” and “P LED-”. We only need to connect the green end to the P LED+ pin, and the white wire to the P LED-pin.

4 hard drive indicator cable

First find the two plugs labeled "H.D.D.LED". The wires are white and red, and plug it into the pins labeled "HDD LED" or "IED LED" on the motherboard. Pay attention to the direction when inserting. Generally, the main board will be marked with “HDD LED+” and “HDD LED-”. The red end is connected to the HDD LED+ pin, and the white is inserted on the “HDD LED-” pin.

5 speaker cable

First find the four-pin plug of "SPEAKER", the middle two lines are vacant, the two ends are red and black respectively, and it is inserted into the pin on the main board marked with "PEAKER" or "SPK". Red is inserted into the positive pole and black is inserted into the negative pole.
